Archive Photos and Documents from Blog Posts

Many of these images have been acquired from family sources a few have been in my immediate family for many years and some from Ancestry.com users.  I am most indebted to the generosity of these individuals.  Nothing tells a story quite like a photo or an original document!  Many of the photos have been moderately edited (repairing scratches, blotches etc.) so the affects of time aren’t as glaring or the image of our dear ancestor isn’t missing an eyebrow or other facial feature!  As my daughter says to me, I’m not a surgeon, just a photo editor!

A few key documents will be found on separate pages, such as the Jane and Albert letters written to my Great Grandfather, Martin Luther McIntire.  Those links are found in the top menu.  As the gallery increases, I will re-organize the photos so they will be easier to access and found within a person or family.

Feel free to use any of the images for your own family archive projects such as Ancestry.com or heritage scrapbooking.  At a later time I will be showcasing my personal scrapbook project and encourage you to do the same.  My scrapbooks are all hands-on, cut and paste style, not digital, but those are also beautiful!

Please reach out to me if your have a photo or document to share.  Maybe even a family recipe!
